The accumulated production of the country's first national shale oil demonstration zone has exceeded 5 million tons.

Today, the first national-level continental shale oil demonstration zone in our country - China Petrochemical Xinjiang Jimusa shale oil has accumulated production exceeding 5 million tons, marking our country's development of shale oil from technological exploration to stable production stage. The Jimusa shale oil demonstration zone is located in the eastern part of the Junggar Basin, covering an area of 1,278 square kilometers and with oil reserves buried more than 3,800 meters deep. Since the beginning of this year, the construction of production capacity in the demonstration zone has been continuously accelerating, with 48 wells drilled and daily production exceeding 5,000 tons for the first time, hitting a historic high.
