On September 24, Minister of Industry and Information Technology Li Lecheng met with Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Al-Hulayf in Beijing. The two sides exchanged views on further strengthening cooperation in the industrial sector and reached consensus. Li Lecheng introduced China's achievements in manufacturing development and practical experience in empowering new industrialization with artificial intelligence. He stated that in recent years, under the strategic guidance of the leaders of the two countries, cooperation in the industrial sector has gradually deepened, achieving fruitful results in areas such as petrochemicals, automobiles, and new energy, with broad prospects for cooperation. China and Saudi Arabia are comprehensive strategic partners, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology is willing to work together with Saudi Arabia to implement the important outcomes of the meetings between the leaders of the two countries, further strengthen exchanges in industrial policies and strategic alignment, jointly consolidate the stability and smooth flow of industrial chain supply chains, and promote the continuous deepening of cooperation in the industrial sector between the two countries.
