Association of Passenger Cars: From September 1 to 21, the national passenger car market retail sales totaled 1.191 million units, an increase of 1% compared to the same period last year in September.

The China Passenger Car Association released data showing that from September 1st to 21st, the national retail sales of passenger vehicles reached 1.191 million units, a year-on-year increase of 1% compared to the same period last year and an 8% increase compared to the previous month. So far this year, a total of 15.955 million passenger vehicles have been sold, an increase of 9% compared to the same period last year. From September 1st to 21st, the national retail sales of new energy passenger vehicles reached 697,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 10% compared to the same period last year and an 11% increase compared to the previous month. The retail market penetration rate for new energy passenger vehicles in the country is 58.5%, and so far this year, a total of 8.267 million new energy passenger vehicles have been sold, an increase of 24% compared to the same period last year.
