The "Supervision and Management Measures for Live Streaming E-commerce" jointly drafted by the State Administration for Market Regulation and the National Internet Information Office were open for public comments from June to July this year and have now entered the legal review process. The official release is expected soon. The measures further clarify the legal responsibilities of live streaming e-commerce platforms, operators, marketing personnel, and their service agencies, strengthen supervision and management methods, specify the coordinated disposal mechanism between regulatory authorities and platforms, and establish a complete chain of responsibility system to form a closed loop of regulation and enforcement.
