Recently, the US subsidiary FiSensor of Jinghua New Materials' subsidiary Jingzhi signed a strategic cooperation agreement with TetherIA, a Silicon Valley company specializing in robotic dexterous hands. This collaboration will focus on the integration of "multi-modal electronic skin + tendon-driven dexterous hands", jointly promoting technological breakthroughs in the field of robotic tactile perception and high-precision operations, and creating a new generation of intelligent dexterous hand systems that are perceptible, learnable, and mass-producible. It is reported that TetherIA.ai is a full-stack robotics company based in Silicon Valley, co-founded by core members of Tesla's Optimus dexterous hand team and early team members of Waymo's large-scale base model. The founder and CEO, Evan, previously served as the head of Tesla's Optimus dexterous hand team, leading the team to complete the development of Tesla's second-generation dexterous hand. TetherIA.ai's first humanoid hand with five-finger tendon-driven dexterous hand is expected to be officially released at the Machine Learning Conference held at COEX Convention and Exhibition Center in Seoul, South Korea from September 27 to 30, 2025. This product is expected to be the lightest and smallest high-degree-of-freedom dexterous hand on the market.
