The Macao Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau has announced that the number 8 typhoon signal will be hoisted at 5 p.m. today. The Macao SAR government stated that according to regulations, all government departments will be closed at that time, and civil servants will suspend work. The SAR government's Public Security Police Force, Fire Services Bureau, Judiciary Police, Customs, and Conde de So Janurio Hospital Emergency Department will continue to provide emergency services to the public.
