Artificial intelligence + Steel: Research and development cycle halved, steelmaking becomes more environmentally friendly

Today, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and other departments jointly issued the "Work Plan for Stabilizing Growth in the Steel Industry", clearly setting the annual average growth target for the added value of the steel industry in the next two years at around 4%. This plan, with "stabilizing growth and preventing stagnation" as its core, provides an implementation path for the structural adjustment and high-quality development of the Chinese steel industry. The "Work Plan" also promotes the development of "AI + steel industry", further clarifying the core role of artificial intelligence in promoting the high-end and green development of industries such as steel, and providing solid support for the construction of new productive forces. The China Iron and Steel Industry Association stated that for the first time this year, it has proposed "AI + cross-domain integration" in the form of a national action plan, elevating AI to the core engine of new productive forces. Through the deep integration of expert experience and machine intelligence, it will promote the industry from single-point intelligence to whole-process intelligence, ultimately achieving a paradigm shift towards high-end, intelligent, and green industrialization.
