Jilin Province: Support the leading enterprises in the elderly care sector to develop chain and group operations.

The General Office of the People's Government of Jilin Province recently issued the "Action Plan for Promoting the High-Quality Development of the Silver Industry in Jilin Province". It mentions the cultivation and expansion of the elderly care services industry, and supports the chain and group development of leading enterprises in the field of elderly care. It also accelerates the development of elderly-friendly food, elderly health care, anti-aging products, and other businesses, aiming to grow and strengthen the "Jiyang Tian Nian" elderly care industry brand. The plan also promotes the public-private partnership development of elderly care institutions, and encourages social organizations and home care companies to establish and operate community-based elderly care service facilities. It aims to build silver industry parks, focusing on areas such as the extension of the traditional Chinese medicine industry chain, research and development of smart healthcare equipment, manufacturing of rehabilitation aids, production of functional elderly-friendly food, and exhibition of elderly products. Leveraging key projects such as the National Medical Center and Jilv Health and Care Center, the plan aims to create silver industry parks. By strengthening international and domestic cooperation and exchange, promoting technology introduction and collaborative support, the plan aims to facilitate interactive development of research, manufacturing, function demonstration, and incubation in the parks. By 2030, the plan aims to establish 1 provincial-level park, 9 municipal-level parks, and several county-level parks.
