According to the WiseFinancial APP, Hong Kong Secretary for Transport and Logistics, Chen Meibao, attended a radio program and stated that in the low-altitude economy sector, the government has approved 38 sandbox projects, all of which can be launched this year. They also hope to collaborate with scientific research institutions to develop a comprehensive and multi-level control system. The policy address proposed an advanced version of low-altitude economy "regulatory sandbox X", hoping to cover areas not included in the first phase, such as flight waypoints and densely populated areas, and also study the feasibility of providing cross-border logistics distribution services.
