Last week, the A-share market showed a volatile and divergent performance. The Shanghai Composite Index performed relatively weakly, falling 1.30% for the week to close at 3820.09 points; the Shenzhen Component Index rose 1.14% for the whole week; and the ChiNext Index had the strongest performance, with a weekly increase of 2.34%. Looking at the weekly trend, the market experienced overall fluctuations and rebound in the first half of the week. As the Fed's interest rate cut was implemented, fund speculation intensified, leading to a majority of broad-based indexes experiencing a correction on Thursday and Friday. Looking ahead, brokerage research reports analyze that after the Fed's interest rate cut, some funds may take profit, combined with the calendar effect before and after the National Day holiday, A-shares may continue to fluctuate in the short term, but there is potential for significantly improved market risk appetite after the holiday. The current market volatility is a short-term adjustment, and the index still has long-term upward potential.
