On September 20th, Vice Minister of Science and Technology Chen Jiachang met with Daniel Almeida, Vice Minister of Science and Technology Innovation of Brazil, who was in Shanghai to attend the Pujiang Innovation Forum. Chen Jiachang stated that under the leadership of the two countries' leaders, China and Brazil have frequent exchanges in the field of science and technology, with close cooperation between research institutions. The Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology is willing to work together with the Brazilian Ministry of Science and Technology Innovation to actively implement the consensus reached in the meeting of the two countries' leaders, continuously strengthen the government-to-government cooperation mechanism in science and technology, and support ongoing cooperation between the two countries' researchers in traditional and emerging fields of scientific and technological innovation. Almeida stated that China is an important partner for scientific and technological cooperation with Brazil, and that the two countries have great potential for scientific and technological cooperation.
