Today, it was learned from the National Grid Group that China's first salt cave gas storage facility, the Jintan gas storage facility, has completed its capacity expansion, achieving a significant improvement in operational efficiency. This has significantly enhanced the injection and extraction capacity, which is of great importance for improving regional natural gas peak shaving and emergency supply levels. Located in the core area of the Yangtze River Delta, the Jintan gas storage facility is a key "granary" for regional energy security. This capacity expansion has increased the daily gas injection capacity from 8.2 million cubic meters to 13.2 million cubic meters, a 60% increase, and the daily peak shaving gas extraction capacity has increased from 6 million cubic meters to 18 million cubic meters, doubling in size.
