During the event, NIO's founder, chairman, and CEO, William Li, mentioned the 230-liter large inductive electric front trunk that comes with the new ES8, saying, "Upgrading from a front trunk of over 100 liters to a front trunk of over 200 liters represents a qualitative change in technological capabilities. The usage rate of the front trunk by users of the ES8 has already exceeded 93% per week, while the usage rate of the rear trunk is only 96%, meaning that the usage of the front trunk is almost equivalent to the rear trunk. For large three-row SUVs, the front trunk is not just for emergencies, but a high-frequency necessity."
