In 2024, the hotel industry in Macau made a profit of 81.1 billion Macau patacas.

According to the Wisdom Financial APP, on September 19, the data from the Statistics and Census Bureau of Macau showed that in 2024, with the continuous increase of inbound tourists, the number of guests and the room occupancy rate further increased, driving the revenue of the hotel industry (including hotels and budget accommodation establishments) to increase by 13.6% annually to 43.31 billion Macau Patacas (MOP). Expenditure (excluding depreciation and interest payments) also increased by 18.2% to 35.26 billion MOP. The hotel industry recorded a profit of 8.11 billion MOP in 2024 (not deducting depreciation and interest payments).
