Effective from December 1st! New regulations on liquid infant formula milk are in effect.

Reporters have learned that the recent decision of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress to amend the Food Safety Law of the People's Republic of China will include liquid infant formula in the registration management. In response, the State Administration for Market Regulation has revised the "Management Measures for Registration of Infant Formula Milk Powder Products" and related supporting documents, officially seeking public feedback. Based on the feedback received, the relevant documents will be amended and improved as soon as possible and published to ensure that companies can apply for registration of liquid infant formula on time. The new management measures and related supporting documents will be implemented starting from December 1st of this year.
