The International Alliance for the Mapping of Primate Interbrain Networks was established in Shanghai.

According to the International Symposium on the 2025 Mesoscale Brain Atlas held on the morning of September 20th, the "International Primate Mesoscale Brain Atlas Alliance" was established and the "White Paper of the International Primate Mesoscale Brain Atlas Alliance" was released. The establishment of the Alliance and the release of the White Paper mark the official launch of the "Global Mesoscale Neural Connectivity Map of the Whole Brain" major scientific plan by the scientific community, and the systematic cooperation on primate brain atlas research on a global scale is officially initiated.
