Ministry of Commerce: Make greater efforts to promote the expansion and upgrade of the one-kilometer convenient living circle in cities.

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, on September 19, the Ministry of Commerce held a special press conference to introduce the main contents and highlights of the "Notice on Promoting the Construction and Expansion of the Urban Convenience Living Circle". Li Jialu, Director of the Department of Circulation Development of the Ministry of Commerce, stated that the "Notice" clearly aims to achieve the goal of "100 cities with a thousand circles" by 2030, which means identifying 100 pilot cities for the comprehensive promotion of one-stop convenience living circles; and building 10,000 well-planned, fully-equipped, functionally-improved, quality-service, smart and efficient, standardized and orderly convenience living circles. The "Notice" specifies tasks in five aspects, including expanding coverage, optimizing facility layout, promoting format upgrades, promoting service upgrades, and promoting management upgrades. The "Notice" also includes safeguard measures in terms of improving work mechanisms, expanding site and facility supplies, and so on.
