On September 18th, the National Energy Administration released data on electric vehicle charging facilities nationwide for the month of August. By the end of August 2025, the total number of electric vehicle charging infrastructure in China reached 17.348 million, a year-on-year increase of 53.5%. Among them, there were 4.316 million public charging facilities, an increase of 37.8% compared to the previous year. The total rated power of public charging piles reached 196 million kilowatts, with an average power of approximately 45.48 kilowatts. There were 13.032 million private charging facilities, an increase of 59.6% compared to the previous year, and the installed electric capacity of private charging facilities reached 1.15 billion kilowatt-hours.
