National Oceanic Forecasting Station: Issued a double blue warning for waves and storm surges.

The National Marine Forecast Station issued a double blue alert for waves and storm surges this morning as informed by the Ministry of Natural Resources. It is expected that from this morning to tomorrow morning, there will be a large wave area of 3 to 3.8 meters in the northeast part of the South China Sea; and moderate to large waves of 2 to 3.3 meters will appear in the coastal waters of eastern Guangdong. Storm surges of 30 to 80 centimeters will occur along the coast from Chaozhou to Shenzhen in Guangdong. Ships operating in the above-mentioned seas are advised to pay attention to safety, and relevant coastal units should take precautions against waves and surges in advance.
