The world's first! Changfei's new submarine cable successfully laid.

On September 17th, Changfei Optical Fiber Cable Co., Ltd. announced a major breakthrough in submarine communication technology: the company, in collaboration with relevant units, successfully laid the world's first 7-core optical fiber submarine test cable between Guishan Island and Wailingding Island in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, establishing a super large capacity, ultra-long distance submarine optical network. This major breakthrough was carried out by Changfei and the National Key Laboratory of Advanced Manufacturing and Application Technology of Optical Fiber Cables, in collaboration with Sun Yat-sen University, South China Sea Laboratory, Jinan University, China Mobile Guangdong Company, and others.
