By 2024, the comprehensive output value of the top ten key agricultural industry chains in Hubei Province is expected to reach 1.09 trillion yuan.

The Agriculture and Rural Affairs Department of Hubei Province introduced at a press conference held by the Hubei Provincial Government News Office that by 2024, the comprehensive output value of the top ten key agricultural industry chains in Hubei will reach 1.09 trillion yuan, with four industry chains including high-quality rice, pork, freshwater products, and vegetables exceeding 100 billion yuan. Since the 14th Five-Year Plan, the province has added 1181 large-scale agricultural product processing enterprises, totaling 5922 enterprises, and added 36 national key leading enterprises, reaching 98 companies. The promotion of 3 agricultural enterprises to go public has reached 14, and 9 nationally advantageous characteristic industry clusters, 13 modern agricultural industry parks, and 86 strong agricultural towns have been established.
