According to documents, Federal Reserve Board member Cooke once referred to a property in Atlanta as a "vacation home," which is the core of the mortgage fraud case that led to her dismissal by Trump. A credit cooperative issued this loan estimate document to Cooke on May 28, 2021. This was just weeks before she ultimately purchased the property. The document shows that she informed the bank that the property would not be her primary residence. Quoting two real estate experts, they believe that these documents seem to contradict other materials used by Trump administration officials to prove that Cooke is not fit to serve as a Federal Reserve Board member.
