According to the official WeChat account of the National Bureau of Statistics, on September 11th, Yu Ying, a member of the Party Group of the National Bureau of Statistics and Deputy Director, attended the unveiling ceremony of Beijing Data Group and delivered a speech at the Beijing Data Industry Ecological Development Forum. During the meeting, Yu Ying put forward three suggestions for the Beijing Data Group. The first is to be based in the capital, to be a good opener of data resources, infrastructure builder, and data circulation service provider, and to show new achievements in serving the economic and social development of Beijing. The second is to serve the whole country, strengthen cooperation with data groups in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and all over the country, and take the lead in building a national integrated data market. The third is to have a global perspective, actively participate in the formulation of international rules and standards, explore the establishment of cross-border data development, utilization, and circulation cooperation mechanisms, and make positive contributions to international cooperation in the field of data.
