On September 13th, Wanshili Wanglian issued a notice stating that unauthorized transactions have been detected on some Mastercards and on the Wanshili Wanglian network in China recently. The company, together with the issuing banks, promptly initiated an emergency investigation and set up a special team to trace the source of the risk, block potential risks, and jointly promote the protection process for relevant cardholders' funds to prevent cardholders from bearing losses that they should not bear. Mastercard and Wanshili Wanglian remind all cardholders: regularly check transactions through the issuing bank's app, SMS notifications, or statements (paying particular attention to non-personal consumption and unusual small deductions), open real-time alerts for each transaction as soon as possible, do not let the card go out of sight for offline transactions, protect the card number and verification code for online transactions; if unauthorized transactions are found, immediately call the issuing bank's customer service to verify the situation and freeze the account.
