On the night of September 12, the Development Zone Management Committee of Binzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone in Shandong province issued a situation report: In the afternoon of September 11, some people reported experiencing symptoms such as abdominal pain and diarrhea after purchasing and consuming cooked skin shrimp from a mobile vendor at Dashang market. The Market Supervision, Health, and Public Security departments in the area have formed a joint investigation team to conduct an epidemiological investigation and collect relevant samples from 7 people who sought medical treatment in the hospital. The testing work is currently underway. As of now, the symptoms of the affected individuals have all alleviated, their health condition is stable, and they have returned home. The joint investigation team is currently investigating the mobile vendor involved. Next steps include taking strict legal actions against those responsible based on the investigation results.
