The 54th Pacific Islands Forum Leaders Meeting closed in the Solomon Islands on the evening of the 12th local time. The joint communiqu released after the meeting showed that the leaders reached consensus on key issues such as climate change, regional peace and security, and economic development. The communiqu stated that in order to address the increasingly complex geopolitical environment, the leaders at the meeting issued the "Blue Pacific Peace Declaration," advocating for dialogue and consensus to maintain regional peace and stability. The Pacific Islands Forum was established in 1971 and currently has 18 members, making it an important regional political and economic cooperation organization in the region.
