Russia claims control of multiple settlements, Ukraine claims to strike Russian important port.
On the 12th local time, the Russian Ministry of Defense released a weekly war report summary, stating that in the past week, the Russian military has taken control of 3 residential areas in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast and targeted Ukrainian military-industrial complex enterprises, transportation and energy infrastructure serving the Ukrainian military, and military airports. On the same day, the Russian national atomic energy company issued a statement, stating that a Ukrainian military drone attacked the building where the Smolensk nuclear power plant operating unit is located. The drone has been intercepted and the attack did not affect the safe operation of the nuclear power plant, with radiation levels in the surrounding area remaining within normal range. According to the Ukrainian National News Agency citing sources, in the early hours of the 12th, the Ukrainian Security Service used drones to attack the largest oil loading port of Primorsk in the Baltic Sea controlled by Russia, as well as several other oil pumping stations. The port is also the terminal of Russia's Baltic Sea oil pipeline system. The attack caused a fire at the port, forcing oil loading to be temporarily suspended. In addition, the Ukrainian Security Service also attacked multiple pumping stations that supply oil to the Russian port of Ust-Luga.
