On September 12th, Google Cloud announced that it has secured a 400 million contract to provide the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) with British sovereign cloud services. Google Cloud stated that it will provide the Ministry of Defence with secure cloud infrastructure for secure information processing, supporting the application of artificial intelligence and network security tools.
