Wang Dongwei, Deputy Minister of Finance, said at the press conference of the State Council Information Office on "high-quality completion of the 14th Five-Year Plan" on September 12 that since the 14th Five-Year Plan, the per capita disposable income of rural residents in poverty-stricken areas has increased by nearly 40%, reaching 1.7522 trillion yuan in 2024, with an average annual growth rate higher than the national average for four consecutive years.
