President Trump has requested the Federal Appeals Court to immediately suspend a lower court's ruling that blocked him from dismissing Federal Reserve Board member Lisa Cook. The Justice Department on Thursday asked a panel of three judges in Washington to issue a so-called "stay order," which is likely to allow Trump's decision to remove Cook to take effect before the appeal is formally heard.
