The European Commission announced on the 11th that the EU has disbursed a new 1 billion euro macro-financial assistance loan to Ukraine. This funding is part of the Group of Seven (G7) "Special Drawing Rights Accelerated Loan" program, which aims to provide approximately 45 billion euros in financial support to Ukraine. Including this latest payment, since the beginning of the year, the European Commission has provided Ukraine with over 10 billion euros in loans under this assistance program.
