National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine: 57 new traditional Chinese medicines have been approved for marketing since the start of the 14th five-year plan.

Yu Yanhong, director of the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, said at a high-quality completion of the "14th Five-Year Plan" series of themed press conferences held by the State Council Information Office on September 11 that since 2021, 57 new traditional Chinese medicines have been approved for marketing, including 27 complex Chinese herbal formula preparations from ancient classical prescriptions, and the research and development process has significantly accelerated.
