Local temperature reaches 40C, Hubei issues orange high-temperature warning.

The Hubei Provincial Meteorological Observatory issued a high temperature orange provincial-level warning at 15:20 on May 20, 2025: It is expected that tomorrow during the day, the highest temperature in places such as Shiyan, Xiangyang, Yichang, northern Enshi, Jingmen, western Jingzhou, Suizhou, Xiaogan, Wuhan, Qianjiang, Tianmen, and Xiantao will rise to 35C or above, with Shiyan, Xiangyang, Suizhou, and Yichang reaching 37-39C, locally up to 40C. Please take precautions.
