According to the announcement from the Thai Meteorological Department, Thailand officially entered the rainy season on May 15. In recent days, there has been frequent rainfall in northern Thailand, with large instantaneous precipitation and water accumulation in many areas of Chiang Mai. The latest weather forecast from the Thai Meteorological Department indicates that the northern region of Thailand will experience unstable weather in the coming days, with possible frequent thunderstorms and localized heavy rainfall, affecting areas including Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Mae Hong Son, and Tak. Localized heavy rainfall may trigger flash floods, urban flooding, and other disasters.
