The Africa Travel Expo 2025 was held in the coastal city of Durban, South Africa from May 13th to 15th. Many African officials attending the conference expressed optimism about the potential of the Chinese outbound tourism market, and announced that they will introduce more targeted measures to attract Chinese tourists to travel to Africa. As one of the largest tourism exhibitions in Africa, this year's Africa Travel Expo attracted more than 1,300 exhibitors from 27 African countries and over 1,200 buyers from 55 countries and regions.
