US media: Ten prisoners escape by chiseling walls in New Orleans, police suspect "external assistance"

According to multiple reports from media outlets such as The New York Times and ABC News, in the early morning of the 16th local time, 10 inmates escaped from a prison in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA by chiseling through the walls of their cells. Local authorities stated that these "armed and dangerous" fugitives may have received assistance from prison staff. As of now, two inmates have been captured, while eight are still at large.
