"Global City Technology Communication Capability Index 2025" released in Shanghai, ranking Shanghai sixth.

Professor Xu Jian's team from the Institute of Cultural Innovation and Youth Development at Shanghai Jiao Tong University released the "Global City Science and Technology Communication Capability Index 2025" at the Science and Technology Communication Theory Subconference of the Shanghai Science Festival on the 17th. The index showed that New York's science and technology communication capability ranked first among 40 cities, with Shanghai ranking sixth globally and second in Asia in this evaluation.
