With the signing of the visa exemption agreement between China and Azerbaijan in April this year, China has also entered into visa exemption agreements with three countries in the South Caucasus region: Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Georgia. Chinese citizens can now more easily travel to these three countries in the South Caucasus region. Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Georgia are located in the heartland of the Eurasian continent, south of the Caucasus Mountains, and are important partners of China as they lie on the ancient Silk Road. Therefore, starting from June 1st, one of China's "Three Major Airlines", Southern Airlines, will focus on increasing flights to the three countries in the South Caucasus region.
