This weekend, the 21st Public Science Day of the Chinese Academy of Sciences officially kicked off. This year's Public Science Day has the theme of "Starting a New Future with Scientific Questions", with 135 units affiliated with the Chinese Academy of Sciences organizing nearly 400 popular science activities. More than 20 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences will conduct popular science lectures, online Q&A sessions, and interactive exchanges on hot topics that interest the public, explaining the latest and cutting-edge research results and inspiring young people to engage in scientific careers. At the main event, focusing on topics of scientific education and talent cultivation, principals and scientists from schools in Beijing, Hong Kong, and the western regions have been invited to participate in a roundtable discussion to explore innovative practices in scientific education.
