Shanghai Port's export freight to the U.S. West Coast has increased significantly by 31.7% compared to last week.

On May 16th, the Shanghai Shipping Exchange released the Shanghai Export Container Composite Freight Index, which was 1479.39 points, up 10.0% from the previous week. The freight rates from Shanghai Port to the West Coast and East Coast of the United States were $3091/FEU and $4069/FEU, respectively, up 31.7% and 22.0% from the previous week.
