Standard Chartered Bank (SCBFY.US) has established a private equity team in the United States to expand its investment banking business.

According to the Zhidao Finance APP, Standard Chartered Bank (SCBFY.US) announced on Thursday that it has established a dedicated team to serve private equity firms, hedge funds, and sovereign wealth funds, as part of its investment banking department's efforts to attract more financial clients on a broader scale. The team will be led by Molly Duffy, Global Co-Head of Financial Institutions Coverage at Standard Chartered Bank, and Jerry Zhang, with plans to appoint a global head.
