The total electricity generation at the Daxi Gorge Hydropower Hub has exceeded 20 billion kilowatt hours.

According to the Ministry of Water Resources, as of May 14th, the Datengxia Water Conservancy Hub Project in Guangxi has accumulated a total electricity generation of over 20 billion kilowatt-hours. The Datengxia project is an important node project in the national water network, integrating benefits such as flood control, navigation, power generation, water supplementation for salinity control, and irrigation. It has a total of 8 domestic largest axial flow Kaplan turbine units, with a total installed capacity of 1.6 million kilowatts.
