The yield on British bonds has generally risen by more than 4 basis points.
On Wednesday afternoon in the European market, the yield on the 10-year UK government bond rose by 4.4 basis points to 4.714%, breaking out of the sideways consolidation pattern and moving higher after 20:30 Beijing time. The yield on the 2-year UK bond rose by 4.1 basis points to 4.023%, falling to 3.960% and hitting a daily low at 15:25 Beijing time, then oscillating higher and rising to 4.026% at 23:21 to set a daily high. The yield on the 30-year UK bond rose by 4.7 basis points, and the yield on the 50-year UK bond rose by 6.4 basis points. The yield spread between the 2-year and 10-year UK bonds remained unchanged at +68.789 basis points.
