The US State Department has approved the potential sale of missiles to Turkey.

The Pentagon said on Wednesday that the US State Department has approved the sale of missiles and related parts to Turkey, totaling about $304 million. The approved sale includes AIM-9X "Sidewinder" Block II missiles and AIM-120C-8 advanced medium-range air-to-air missiles. The main contractor for the sale is Raytheon Company.
