Low-altitude scene operation service provider BeeLow has completed an angel round of financing.
Journalists learned from the comprehensive scene service provider Bee Low Altitude that the company recently completed an angel round of financing, led by the industry-leading early-stage venture capital firm Alpha Ventures. In the first half of 2024, Bee Low Altitude has covered more than 110 5A/4A-level scenic spots in 23 provinces, such as the Red Pool Dam in Wuxi, Chongqing, the Wild Wolf Valley in Inner Mongolia, and the Diexi Stone Flower Valley in Youyang, Chongqing, providing tourists with low-altitude sightseeing services at a height of about 300 meters. They have exclusive operating rights, covering a customer flow of 120 million years, with an average quarterly flight of over 12,000 people, generating additional revenue of over one million yuan per aircraft. "The reason why the low-altitude sightseeing project was able to be commercialized first is that the scenic spots have the advantage of isolated environments, making them easy to manage; secondly, sightseeing projects are becoming a necessity for scenic spots; and thirdly, local governments strongly support the commercialization of low-altitude economic scenes," said Zhao Min, the founder of Bee Low Altitude. The low-altitude sightseeing uses fixed-wing manned aircraft from Beihang University, with a single flight time of 5-8 minutes, a cost of approximately 107 yuan, and a price of 499 yuan, already achieving profitability.
