Built on a brand new platform! Chery officially announces its first C-class flagship sedan, the Fengyun A9L.

Recently, at Chery Automobile's Safety Night, Chery officially announced that its first C-segment flagship sedan will be named the Fengyun A9L. This model is based on the new E0X platform and is positioned in the high-end new energy market. It has already received 5386 orders and plans to limit the issuance of 5000 Founder's Editions. At Chery Longshan Testing Center, the largest collision safety test lab in Asia, the Fengyun A9L performed two extreme tests - "Ironman Triathlon" and "Double Car Collision" - allowing global users to intuitively understand the safety value of the Fengyun A9L. In the Ironman Triathlon, the same Fengyun A9L simulated extreme environments and accident scenes, first passing through a 400mm deep water area exceeding 4 times the national standard, then completing a bumper test with a 40km/h speed and 40mm overlap, and finally colliding with the center pillar at a speed of 55km/h, which is 2.95-3.36 times the industry standard. After the three tests, the vehicle's power system remained intact, the battery pack did not leak, and the insulation resistance remained stable above 500/V.
