Reporters have learned from multiple sources that the DRAM market has been continuously increasing in price since Q2 of 2025. Some manufacturers have revealed that prices of certain DDR4 models have risen by nearly 50% in just one month. Several industry insiders interviewed have indicated that the main reason for this round of fluctuations is the sharp increase in AI-driven HBM and server DRAM demand, leading manufacturers like Samsung and SK Hynix to shift DDR4 production capacity towards high-end products. Analysts point out that the urgent need for downstream long-tail demand to build inventory has exacerbated the shortage of DDR4 supply, potentially benefiting storage manufacturers with ample inventory and module factories. It is worth noting that international big manufacturers' capacity adjustments, combined with changes in the supply chain, are creating structural market opportunities for domestic storage manufacturers.
