India imposes anti-subsidy duties on toughened glass from Vietnam

According to the China Trade Remedy Information Network, on May 10, 2025, the Taxation Department of the Ministry of Finance of India issued Notification No. 03/2025-Customs, accepting the affirmative final ruling proposal of the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry on February 11, 2025, on the anti-subsidy investigation of coated or uncoated patterned tempered glass originating from or imported from Vietnam, and decided to impose a five-year anti-subsidy tax on the products involved from Vietnam. The tax amount is the difference between the import goods declared value and the minimum price, with a minimum price of 593 USD per ton for Vietnamese producer Flat Co., Ltd., and 664 USD per ton for other Vietnamese producers.
