Local governments are still taking multiple measures to resolve the risks left behind by Evergrande. A recent bright spot is the landmark project "Hefei Evergrande Center" in Hefei, Anhui. On May 9th, China Overseas Property won the residential land parcel YH202502 in Yaohai District, Hefei, with a floor price of 3.64 billion yuan, and a transaction floor price of 6037 yuan per square meter. This parcel is located in the core of Hefei's main city, adjacent to the subway and mature commercial facilities, making it a scarce residential land in the center of Hefei. This parcel, which should have been a "good catch," experienced delayed auction before being won by China Overseas at a floor price. The reason behind this is the special auction condition of this parcel - to simultaneously undertake the task of continuing the construction of the D1 and D2 towers of the Hefei Evergrande Center.
