On May 12, the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau of Xiaoshan District in Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province reported on the "511" ship fire accident in Xiaoshan District: At around 20:00 on May 11, a fire broke out on several fishing boats anchored in the sea area opposite the Dongdi Market in the Aiguo Street of Xiaoshan District, Zhanjiang City. It is initially suspected that the fire was caused by one of the fishing boats catching fire during maintenance work, and the specific cause is still under investigation. The fire was successfully brought under control at around 20:20 that night and completely extinguished by 22:40. There were a total of 8 fishing boats on fire at the scene, all of which were temporarily parked vessels from the fishing town, with no casualties or trapped individuals.
